Crafty Field Trip

I was unable to attend yesterday’s Crafty Tuesday, but the week before we went on a field trip to Little Thimble in Celebration, a local fabric and yarn shop. It was a first time visit for me, and I will definitely be back. The owner has curated the shop beautifully with unique fiber items that you may not find elsewhere.

Ally and Linda spoiled our group with coffee, home baked cookies, macarons, and a lovely area to stitch. It was our first gathering since the holidays, and it was a fantastic location to catch up and sew/knit. If only, everyone could have been there, but life, you know….

Aren’t these macarons beautiful?!

Crafty Tuesdays provide another opportunity for me to make more EPP blocks. They are never ending, but I am not tired of them yet. I also did a bit of shopping. I was interested in trying the Sajou French threads. I was intrigued when I saw Karen had them in her collection at Squam.

A few of us took advantage of Columbia restaurant being right around the corner and enjoyed a yummy lunch. I highly recommend their Spanish bean soup and 1905 salad. If you are really hungry and have a sweet tooth, their white chocolate bread pudding is AMAZING!

Thanks for stopping by. Happy stitching,
