Friday Finish: A Few More Pincushions

Today is the last Friday of 2018, can you believe it?! It’s nice to end with some finishes, even though they are small.

The bigger pincushion was made from a leftover quilted scrap of this quilt. Around this same time last year, I made a different pincushion and a little basket for a guild swap with the same quilted scrap. I still have some of the quilted scrap, so there may be more pincushions made in the future.

The two smaller pincushions are Liberty and linen scraps made into tiny four patches. Unlike these made earlier, I did not hand quilt but instead machine quilted in the ditch. I forgot to bring my labels with me, so that’s another difference.

What was your last finish of 2018? Do you know what you’ll finish first in 2019? I have a quilt on the longarm and a quilt basted and ready for my domestic machine….we’ll see which one is finished first.

Happy stitching,
