Fireside Stitching

We had a quiet, but nice Christmas. Besides gift giving, cooking, and eating, I spent time by the fire either reading a book or EPPing.

I completed another four Carolyn Friedlander happy flower blocks, which I believe brings to total to around 45 now. My list is at home so I am not entirely sure. I am super happy that I finished one EPP Happy Flower block quilt, so I won’t feel so rushed with this Carolyn Friedlander project and my other scrappy one. I love making these blocks.

Additionally, I stitched together three more flower blocks and “basted” them on to their background squares. They are now ready to be hand stitched down. That may be on my agenda for today. I need to take advantage of the stitching by the fire situation while I can.

I hope you are enjoying some quiet time to sew before the New Year. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy stitching,
