2024 List of Project ToDos

I have been MIA here for such a very long time. If anyone is still here, I hope you have been well. The Craft Table takes much of my attention, and I have neglected this website. A few days ago I recorded a 45 minute (yes, I realize it is quite long) YouTube video where I laid out my plans for 2024 sewing and creating.

Here is a screen grab from the video. Design wall shows “Read Between the Lines” quilt progress and “Not a Bee” bee blocks

If you care to watch, I suggest doing so while you are sewing or doing some other activity where you can multi task. I get a bit chatty as I list and describe the 15 projects I plan to focus on during 2024. I made the video mostly for myself as a starting place for the year and a way to get the ideas out of my head and in some sort of order.

An EPP quilt project using all Carolyn Friedlander fabrics; “Highlands” quilt progress on design wall

I would like to periodically check in via a YouTube video and share my progress of the individual projects. When I do I will share that here as well. Below is the list of projects (some old, some new, and some are upcoming) that I want to focus on. Since I have not been blogging, I can’t link to past blog posts but I may add links to Instagram posts or to pattern information.

  1. Scrappy Circle Quilt aka Temperature Quilt

  2. Flower Blossom Quilt

  3. Highlands Quilt (similar to this quilt)

  4. EPP Quilt using Carolyn Friedlander fabric (using 4 point star papers)

  5. Read Between The Lines quilt for my niece

  6. Two at a Time Star Chain Quilt free download from Alexia Marcelle Abegg for my nephew

  7. Not a Bee Bee Quilt

  8. Scrappy Blue Hexagon EPP Quilt (using 1.5” hexagon papers)

  9. Pirouette Quilt

  10. Large Ice Cream Soda Quilt (sew along with Jodi - Tales of Cloth) starts 1/15/24)

  11. Cozy Sew Along (with Alison Glass) starts January 2024

  12. Tumbling Cosmos Quilt

  13. 100 Ladies hand embroidery panel

  14. Blue Magic panel for embroidery embellishment

  15. Cori Dantini Christmas panel for embroidery embellishment

This is a very fluid list because I know there will be other projects that will come up as the year progresses. Most of these are hand stitched so I don’t expect to finish them all this year and I am OK with that.

So, what about you? Do you have a Want to Make list going? Do you have a goal to finish certain projects this year? Please share in the comments and we can cheer each other along!

Thanks for stopping by and happy stitching!
