My Ultimate Travel Bag

I still can't believe this beautiful bag is mine!! I knew it was in the works, but WOW!

Hanging out in the airport...it IS a travel bag after all!

This beautiful Ultimate Travel Bag (pattern by Annie) was made and gifted by my dear friend Stephanie after I admired hers on Instagram. The bag was waiting for me at Gruber's, and the thought of traveling with my featherweight inside was the only "silver lining" when it came time to say goodbye and head home.

The bag is perfectly designed for flying with a featherweight sewing machine. There are numerous pockets, inside and outside, but my favorite feature is the velcro strap that allows the bag to slide over my rolling bag's handle.

I love having the option of sliding the featherweight under the seat in front of me on the plane, and placing my rolling bag in the overhead compartment. No more struggling to lift a sewing machine over my head. The bag is roomy enough to hold my cell phone, iPad, chargers, eye glasses, as well as a pouch with hand sewing projects.
