Kitchen Dishtowel

In between hand quilting this quilt, I have been trying to squeeze in time to whip up some quick projects. Today was all about using bits of leftover Liberty and linen.

When you are happy you didn’t throw those scraps away…

It didn’t take long to sew the leftover pairs of Liberty and linen into four rectangles, and then stitch those into a row.

I kind of like this hanging on my oven door.

The length wasn’t quite long enough for the dish towel, so I added a 2.5” by 4” strip of linen to each end.

I regret taking this last outdoor shot as now I have dirt on the back of the towel. That counter wasn’t as clean as I thought!
