Friday Finish: Lined Drawstring Bag

This Cotton+Steel yarn fabric has been waiting for me to turn it into a knitting gift. My husband's aunt sent me a knitting book when she realized I was trying to learn, and I want to send her a nice thank you gift in return.

I love these little orchid plants. I grab one every time I go to Whole Foods.

Jeni Baker's lined drawstring bag pattern has directions for eight different sizes and makes a great gift for a variety of occasions. I made the project bag size for Aunt Vilma to hold her knitting projects.

What will I do when I run out of this fabric?!

For the lining, I couldn't resist using one of my all time favorite fabrics - a Carolyn Friedlander Architextures print - as Vilma is a retired math professor.
