Sew & Tell Friday #43
My daughter's quilt is finished!
(I still need to come up with a name for her quilt and make the label.)
Not the best pictures. I wanted to have it washed, dried and on her bed for picture taking, but that would have meant missing Sew and Tell ;-) We finally have sunny skies here, but the temperature dropped to a chilly 50º this morning, so I opted for indoor pictures.
Ally picked the quilt design (straight lines) and the backing. Green is her favorite color.
I really like the binding fabric. It is a fun fabric and jazzes it up a bit, I think.
If you are interested, I talked about the pattern and fabrics in this post.
This beautiful mini was made by the talented Michele at Nostalgic Cafe. I was the lucky winner of her giveaway. (I can't believe she gave it away either!)
Michele made this mini has part of the Orlando Modern Quilt Guild's ugly fabric challenge. Here's the back. How cool is that?! Thanks Michele, I love it!
Speaking of our guild, at our October meeting we helped Amy of Global Change with her Global Quilt Project. The quilt is now up for auction. Check it out and pass it along. I am thrilled to have played a tiny part in this incredible project.
Grab you beverage of choice and head to Sew and Tell Friday and Blogger's Quilt Festival for some incredible eye candy and inspiration!
Have an amazing weekend!!!!
