Big Blocks

I love big blocks and how they make a quilt come together quickly.

After auditioning several fabrics, my daughter and I chose these for her new bed quilt.  I'm going to try and get a picture outside today...after sewing the rows together and adding borders.

The pattern came from this book.  I did change the size of the blocks (made them smaller) and will probably make the outside border a little larger to fit the size of my daughter's bed.
