Friday Finish: On Point

Regulars around here know I have been making these Happy Flower EPP blocks for a while. I love making them, a few at a time, and then store them in their special bin. Last week I threw them up on the design wall, snapped a photo, and posted on Instagram.

Charlotte suggested arranging them on point, others agreed, Itook their advice, and *bam* they take on a completely different look. 

I love the look of these blocks on point, but I am still not sure I am ready to let go of my original idea. While I ponder the options, I continue to make these blocks (because I want a bed size quilt) but I now have a mini quilt top on point that I plan to hand quilt. 

It's a win-win because I get to have a finished quilt and still make these fun blocks! Linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts.
